Kim is a registered psychologist with over 20 years experience counselling a wide range of people for a wide range of issues.

When working with Christian clients, Kim combines the teachings of the Bible with evidence-based clinical practice, and she invites the Holy Spirit to be a co-counsellor within every session.

Kim is comfortable working with all types of people including Aboriginal and Torres Strait islanders; English as a Second Language clients; second generation Australians and everyone in between. She has worked with prisoners and parolee's; Vietnam Veterans and veterans from more recent conflicts; politicians; members of the police and armed forces; miners, farmers, truck drivers, managers, supervisors, and workers from all walks of life and all professions.

A wide range of problems and issues have brought Kim's clients to therapy over the 20 plus years she has been practicing including personal, emotional, relationship, and motivational difficulties and she tailors her approach to suit the individual with a strong focus on what the client needs.

Kim supports and empowers clients to use their knowledge of themselves to find ways to deal with their issues and find solutions to their problems but she also has a strong faith in the ability of God to help clients no matter what the problem might be.

Kim takes the biblical warning about not judging others seriously and she aims to provide a safe, supportive, counselling environment for those who come to her for counselling.

Kim has an eclectic approach to therapy with a focus on using "whatever works" which might include elements taken from some Christian authors, such as Gary Chapman and his Five Languages Of Love, as well as elements from more traditional therapeutic models including:
